Trump SLAPS DOWN Bob Corker, ein Funkenschlag !!
Senator Bob Corker just stated that, “I’m so priveledged to serve in the Senate for twelve years, and that’s what I told the people of our state that’s what I’d do, serve for two terms.” But that is Not True - wanted to run but poll numbers TANKED when I wouldn’t endorse him.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2018
Corker made his daycare crack in response:.....Bob Corker was responsible for giving us the horrible Iran Nuclear Deal, which I ended, yet he badmouths me for wanting to bring our young people safely back home. Bob wanted to run and asked for my endorsement. I said NO and the game was over. #MAGA I LOVE TENNESSEE!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2018
Yes, just like Mexico is paying for the wall... #AlertTheDaycareStaff https://t.co/4LwrkrSFFr— Senator Bob Corker (@SenBobCorker) December 23, 2018
Trump war möglicherweise verärgert darüber, dass Corker sich nach dem Regierungsstillstand in ihn einreißt:
Corker called Sunday the partial federal government shutdown an unnecessary action and a “made up fight” perpetrated by the president.“This is a purposefully contrived fight,” the Tennessee Republican said on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday morning.
Corker said that Democrats and Republicans had supported legislation to provide $25 billion for border security while also dealing with young immigrants who arrived with parents who entered the country illegally. That legislation wasn’t ultimately approved.“At the end of the day, our borders will still be insecure,” Corker said. “The president could have received $25 billion in (funding) in dealing with the DREAMers.”“Most Republicans want to deal with the DREAMers,” Corker told CNN. “This is a made-up fight so the president can look like he’s fighting. Even if he wins, our borders won’t be secure.”
Kein Wunder, dass Trump verärgert ist.
