Jim Acosta mocked for accidentally proving that border walls WORK with new videos trying to undermine Trump…
“Here are some of the steel slats that the president’s been talking about,” Acosta said while reporting from the southern border. “But as we’re walking along here, we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger.”
He released a couple of videos this morning to suggest that McAllen is plenty safe and there is no border crisis:
All quiet on this stretch of the border ahead of Trump’s visit to McAllen TX area.
I found some steel slats down on the border. But I don’t see anything resembling a national emergency situation.. at least not in the McAllen TX area of the border where Trump will be today.
Nadine has lived in the McAllen area about a decade. She says it’s safe here and hasn’t seen people coming across the border causing crime and mayhem.
Jose has lived here in the McAllen TX area his whole life. He also tells me it is very safe here.
But did you notice where Acosta is filming in the top video, there’s a border fence? And a steel slats wall in the next video?
Well no wonder it’s quiet!
And there’s not just a border fence, but a moat as well:
weird...the fence and moat seem to be effective?weird...the fence and moat seem to be effective? https://t.co/itsLpnWU3t

If you look at McAllen on a map you’ll see a 230 foot wide body of water that runs along the border called the Rio Grande!
Does that boob really think illegals will be trying to cross the border where they know there is a moat and steel barrier? In the daylight? Acosta needs to get out at night with Border Patrol agents, go to where the real action is, instead of hiding in a nice safe place in broad daylight.
